“Hi there,

Welcome to ActiveKate. I’m Katy or better known as ActivKate.

Firstly, well done for taking the first step on your fitness journey. Whether you decide to work with me or someone else, you have started on your journey to becoming a fitter and healthier version of you.

I have a lifelong passion for health and fitness, with a background in Sports and Exercise Science, Personal Training (level 3), Nutrition Coaching and a certified British Weightlifting coach. I have spent time on the gym floor coaching in various roles, including Crossfit.

As a Hybrid Athlete, I also have a vast amount of personal experience in many aspects of sport such as running marathons, completing triathlons, Crossfit and weightlifting, to name but a few!

Unlike many other Coaches and Personal Trainers, I have an applied real world experience of fitting in 10+ hours of training a week, along side full time work and, well, life!

I also suffer with a chronic illness called PoTs Syndrome, which means I absolutely understand how daunting it can be taking that first step and making that commitment to yourself, to get fitter, stronger or leaner but I promise you, it is worth it!

I have over two decades of experience dedicated to sport and exercise, to help you become stronger, fitter, faster and go further than you have before!”

    As a certified British Weightlifting Coach, I specialise in getting your technique right and enabling you to put more weight on the bar. Through bespoke strength programs, tailored to Olympic Lifting or Power lifting, with in person sessions and online programming.

    “You can’t out train a bad diet”. It doesn’t matter how hard you work in the gym, the foundation to your health and fitness is how you fuel your body. I can help guide you through the complex world of nutrition to get you to your goals.

  • Running and Aerobic Training

    Whatever your level of fitness and running experience, whether you’re a seasoned runner looking for a PB or looking to run your first 5k; I create bespoke running programs tailored to support you in reaching your goals.
